CAS GUIDE

As many of you find it confusing what are the expectations of CAS for each student I'll try to clarify it. Everyone should complete at least one CAS project for the trimester. Each CAS project should includes 4 steps:
STEP 1 student chooses the activity and informs about it the CAS coordinator .
STEP 2 student plans the activity. During this step students gets as much CAS coordinator help as they need. Any time spent on this part should be recorded by students in their log as it will be counted to their CAS hours.
STEP 3 student completes the activity. Any time spent on this part should be recorded by students in their log as it will be counted to their CAS hours.
STEP 4 student reflects on own actions. To help them with this step there are guiding questions in CAS guide. Any time spent on this part should be recorded by students in their log as it will be counted to their CAS hours. Students provide CAS coordinator with their reflections no later than two weeks after last action.
If any of the steps will be skipped student will not complete CAS project for the trimester.

Please be aware that because all deadlines and expectations were posted in CAS guide (given to all of the students) there will be no special emails informing you about your child's current achievements and expectations, however you're more than welcome to contact me via email, then I'll try to answer all your questions and doubts.
